What is a CC Combination? (Start)

CC combinations, or blends, are the first two letter sounds that make up CCVC words, like t–r–a–p, c–l–a–sh, or sh–r–u–b.

Many children struggle to hear the second sound in these words, and therefore have trouble spelling and writing them too.
